Das Künstlerkollektiv BEWEGUNG NURR wurde 1989 in Dresden von Christian Steuer, Alekos Hofstetter und Daniel H. Wild gegründet und arbeitete von 1996 bis 2008 in der Besetzung Christian Steuer, Alekos Hofstetter, Lokiev Stoof. 2003 Gründung der Künstlerinitiative SYNTHETIC FORCES (www.s-for.de). Seit 2010 ist die BEWEGUNG NURR als Künstlerduo (Hofstetter & Steuer) tätig.

Alekos Hofstetter   1967 in Bonn geboren, aufgewachsen in Brüssel, Bangkok und Bonn. Nach Abbruch eines Philosophiestudiums an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität, Bonn. 1989 Umzug nach Dresden. Alekos Hofstetter lebt und arbeitet seit 1996 in Berlin.1993 Artbeitsstipendium F.AIM, Den Haag/NL. 1994 Stipendiat der Stiftung Kulturfonds Berlin und 2003 des Else-Heiliger-Fonds, Berlin. 2007 artist in residence Dr. Robert und Lina Thyll-Dürr-Stiftung, Elba/Italien sowie Ausstellungsförderung für Bosnien-Herzegowina, ifa - institut für auslandsbeziehungen e. v. 2008 artist in residence, Künstlerhaus Lukas, Ahrenshoop.

Christian Steuer   1966 in Köthen geboren, aufgewachsen in Eisenhüttenstadt und Dresden. 1991 Kunststudium an der Kunstakademie Dresden, 1996 Abschluus als Dipl.-Bildhauer. Christian Steuer lebt und arbeitet in Dresden. 2004 Stipendiat des Sächsischen Staatsministeriums für Wissenschaft und Kunst.

In 1989, the artists' collective BEWEGUNG NURR was founded by Alekos Hofstetter, Christian Steuer, and Daniel H. Wild and worked from 1996 until 2008 in the constellation in the constellation Hofstetter, Steuer, Stoof. In 2003, BEWEGUNG NURR founded the artists' initiative SYNTHETIC FORCES (www.s-for.de). Since 2009, BEWEGUNG NURR is working as an artist's duo (Hofstetter & Steuer)

Alekos Hofstetter   Born 1967 in Bonn, grown up in Brussels, Bangkok und Bonn. In 1989, he quit his Philosophy studies at the University of Bonn and moved to Dresden. Christian Steuer lives and works in Dresden. 2004 holder of the scholarship by the Saxon State Ministry of Science and Art.
